The co-founder of the Bell Howley Group of companies with over 25 + years of experience working within law firms and accountancy practices. Simon oversees the firms tax advisory arm and is a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians, Chartered Institute of Taxation, Federation of Tax Advisers, Institute of Financial Accountants and the Institute of Public Accountants (Australia). Simon also sits on the Property Taxes Committee of the CIOT’s Technical Policy and Oversight Committee.
Amanda has over 20 years’ experience in the legal field specialising in Commercial and Residential Property and Private Client. Having run her own Practice and merged with another firm, in which she was appointed the Managing Partner.
Amanda’s background provides valuable support to commercial clients looking to increase their portfolios and private clients seeking to set their affairs in order.
Fiona began her accountancy career with global law firm Norton Rose. This is also where she first worked with Simon Howley, the co-founder of Bell Howley. Fiona has extensive experience in the Financial Services sector, working for Newton Investment Management, (Now part of Mellon Bank) and as an analyst for Aviva Investors property team. Fiona oversees the firms UK accounting function and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

After 7 years working as a Chartered Accountant for Deloitte, James made the switch to Wealth Management in 2013. He greatly enjoys getting to know his clients whilst using his financial service experience and skills to help plan to achieve specific financial goals.

Sandra qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and has a Law degree from Strathclyde University. Sandra has a broad commercial property background and currently focuses on leases for occupiers including retail, office, hotels and leisure occupiers. Sandra is dual qualified and entitled to practise in Scotland as well as England & Wales.

After a twenty five year career as a Senior Tax Inspector with HM Revenue & Customs, Stephen moved to a large accountancy and business advisory firm as a Senior Manager. Stephen now brings his HMRC and large practice-honed skills to Bell Howley, and enjoys working with clients old and new.

A law graduate, Jane is a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor, specialising in VAT. A member of the VAT Practitioner Group, Jane has over 20 years experience, having started her career with PWC and worked at several of the top accountancy firms. She has particular experience in land and property, partial exemption, planning and consultancy.
